Directed by Antoine Fuqua and based on Stephen Hunter’s 1993 novel Point of Impact, “Shooter” is an action thriller featuring Mark Wahlberg as Bob Lee Swagger, a retired Marine sniper drawn back into the fray. Living a reclusive life after a mission gone awry, Swagger is pulled out of retirement by Colonel Isaac Johnson (Danny Glover), who needs his skills to thwart an assassination attempt on the President.

However, Swagger is soon betrayed and framed for the crime he was meant to prevent. Now a fugitive, he must navigate a web of deception and political intrigue to clear his name and expose the true masterminds behind the

conspiracy.

With its intense action sequences, suspenseful twists, and political undertones, “Shooter” delivers a thrilling, albeit somewhat conventional, cinematic experience.
