Plot Summary:

Set several years after the classic Tarzan story, the film follows John Clayton III, better known as Tarzan, who has adapted to a refined life in London with his wife, Jane Porter (Margot Robbie). The peaceful existence of the couple is disrupted when George Washington Williams (Samuel L. Jackson), an emissary of Belgian King Leopold II, persuades Tarzan to return to the Congo. Williams suspects that there is a conspiracy involving the exploitation of the Congo’s resources and believes Tarzan’s unique skills are crucial to uncovering the truth.

Upon his return to Africa, Tarzan discovers that his old nemesis, the villainous Léon Rom (Christoph Waltz), has enslaved local tribes and is orchestrating a sinister plot to exploit the region’s resources. With Jane and Williams at

his side, Tarzan must confront Rom, free the enslaved tribes, and thwart the nefarious plans threatening the Congo.
