CONSTANTINE 2 (2024) With Keanu Reeves & Rachel Weisz🔥🔥

“Constantine” (2005) is an American superhero horror film directed by Francis Lawrence, marking his directorial debut. The film, based on DC Comics’ Hellblazer comic book, features Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, a cynical exorcist with the ability to perceive and communicate with half-angels and half-demons. The cast also includes Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Djimon Hounsou, Gavin Rossdale, and Peter Stormare.

Released on February 18, 2005, “Constantine” grossed $230.9 million worldwide against a production budget of $70–100 million, despite receiving mixed reviews from critics. The story begins with a possessed relic from Mexico, a tip from the spear that pierced Jesus Christ, making its way to Los Angeles. Here, John Constantine exorcises a demon from a young girl, uncovering a breach in the treaty between Heaven and Hell. Facing terminal lung cancer, Constantine seeks an extension to his life from the half-breed angel Gabriel, who tells him that good deeds done for selfish reasons will not earn him a place in Heaven.

Meanwhile, detective Angela Dodson investigates the death of her twin sister, Isabel, who fell from a psychiatric hospital roof. Convinced Isabel’s devout Catholicism makes suicide impossible, Angela turns to Constantine after hearing her sister call his name on security footage. Constantine reluctantly assists, discovering Isabel’s suicide through a ritual, and reveals his own tragic past—having committed suicide as a teenager after witnessing supernatural entities. Though

revived, Constantine is doomed to Hell upon his death.

The upcoming sequel, “Constantine 2” (2024), promises to delve deeper into the dark, supernatural world established in the first film, with Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weisz returning to their iconic roles. Fans can expect more intense action, occult mysteries, and philosophical explorations of morality and redemption.
