“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is an upcoming American superhero film based on DC Comics, featuring the iconic character Aquaman. Produced by DC Films, The Safran Company, and Atomic Monster Productions, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it serves as the sequel to “Aquaman” (2018) and the thirteenth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Returning to the role of Arthur Curry / Aquaman is Jason Momoa, joined by Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in a role that promises to expand on his character’s development from the previous film.
Development for the sequel began shortly after the success of the first film, with Jason Momoa actively pitching story ideas.
